Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This website is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The information here, and on any third-party tool linked from this site, may not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. Background checks for those purposes must come from an FCRA-compliant screening provider.
Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated. It is not a court, a sheriff's office, or any government agency, and it is not endorsed by or connected to one. It does not issue warrants, serve warrants, or keep an official warrant system. Its only job is to point you toward the offices that do: the 74th District Court, the 18th Circuit Court, the Friend of the Court, and the sheriff's Records Division.
Accuracy of Information
Courts and sheriff's offices change phone numbers, hours, addresses, fees, and procedures with little warning, and warrant systems update throughout the day. We work to keep these pages current, but we cannot promise that every detail here is correct at any given moment. Before you visit a counter or send a payment, call the office directly to confirm.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
A warrant is a living record. Warrants are issued, recalled, quashed, served, and sometimes sealed, and a status can shift from one day to the next. A search that comes back clear is not proof that no warrant exists. A warrant may not have been entered yet, it may sit with a different court, or it may never appear on a public listing at all. A result you saw last week may not match what the file says today. Before you act on a warrant's status, or on its absence, confirm it with the issuing court or the sheriff's Records Division.
Treat every warrant result as a starting point rather than the final word. Only the issuing court or the sheriff's Records Division can confirm whether a warrant currently exists and whether it has been recalled, served, or sealed.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this site is an official record. If a decision depends on a warrant's status, whether one exists, what it charges, what bond it carries, or whether it has been cleared, get the answer from the office that holds the file. That means the clerk of the court that issued the warrant, or the sheriff's office if the question is about service or custody. Michigan's Law Enforcement Information Network holds statewide process information, but it is restricted to authorized users and is not a public search.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. It points you toward resources and explains how warrants generally work in Bay County, but a website cannot take the place of a licensed attorney, especially for an outstanding warrant, a voluntary appearance, or a bond decision.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages carry search boxes powered by outside companies. We do not control what those tools return, how they price their services, or how they handle the data you submit. Results from them may be incomplete, outdated, or matched to the wrong person or case, and they carry the same FCRA restrictions described above.
Outbound Links
We link to sheriff's office pages, court portals, state agencies, and other resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site, and a Michigan court file reached through one of those links still belongs to the court that keeps it.
No Records on This Site
This site does not host any warrants, warrant lists, case files, or court records. It points you to the offices that do hold them. To confirm an actual warrant, you have to check with the issuing court or the sheriff's Records Division.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. This site does not host or maintain any warrant system. The official answer comes from the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's Records Division. You can start with a warrant search or by calling the 74th District Court.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. A clear result is not proof that no warrant exists. Warrants get added, recalled, served, or sealed, and some never appear on a public listing. Confirm your status directly with the court or the sheriff.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
Only the court that issued the warrant can recall or clear it. Talk with an attorney and the issuing court.
